TIC-80 netplay (peer-to-peer rollback multiplayer)

Source code ↗
How it works
  1. Choose a game from the catalog — the live library from tic80.com, browsed right here.
  2. Pick the player count (2–4). A random room code is generated for you.
  3. Invite players by sending the link below — it carries the game and the room code, so they don't have to pick anything.
  4. Click Start. You'll see “connecting…”, then play begins once everyone joins. Click the game screen to give it the keyboard.

No accounts and no central server — peers meet over public relays and connect directly. If someone behind a strict firewall/NAT can't connect, add a TURN relay under Connection settings below.

Browsing the full tic80.com catalog. Any cart loads, but rollback netplay needs a deterministic game — some single-player or randomness-heavy carts may desync. Two-player titles work best.

Connection settings (STUN / TURN)

Most peers connect fine on the default public STUN server. A minority behind strict NATs/firewalls need a TURN relay to connect — if a player can't join, fill in a TURN server below.
